Organizations

Boy Scouts

Cub Scout Pack 39 meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. upstairs in the educational building. The pack is for boys in grades 1 – 5.

Boy Scout Troop 39 meets on Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Coleman house. The troop is an active ministry of Macedonia Lutheran Church and is open to all boys who have completed the fifth grade.

  • Loryn Payne (Scoutmaster of Troop 39),
  • Clark Gable (Cub master of Pack 39)

Meets: Monday 7:00pm

OWLS (Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors)

Consists primarily of senior Macedonians, but open to all for fun, food, and fellowship. There is usually a monthly meeting with either a covered dish lunch or meal at some other site, along with a program, or even a trip.

Meets: the second Monday of each month at 11:30am unless otherwise specified.

Coordinator: Barbara Lilienthal / Senior Adult Leadership Team

N & N’s

Organized to utilize skills of members. They meet monthly for breakfast and plan the day’s work – minor maintenance and repairs around the church, clearing debris, etc., which helps keep down the cost of outside help.

Meets: the third Wednesday of each month for breakfast at 8:00 a.m.

Men of Macedonia, Men in Mission

Charter members in the NCLMM have a monthly dinner meeting with a variety of programs and speakers. They prepare and serve the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, the Easter breakfast after the sunrise service, provide a meal during vacation Bible school, serve a Homeless Shelter meal, help with
Bereavement meals and are always willing to assist members and others when needed.

Meets: the first Thursday of each month at Mayflower Seafood Restaurant at 6:00 p.m.(Except July, August and December)

Women of the ELCA (WELCA)

There are six circles, with monthly meetings that vary greatly according to the interests of each circle. There is a monthly Bible study, and several interdenominational functions in the community in which to participate. In May, they sponsor a Mother-Daughter event and have a tea in December. On a
rotating basis, they prepare meals for bereaved families, refill the pew pockets, assist with congregational dinners including Homecoming, and provide volunteers for Meals on Wheels and the Good Shepherd Kitchen.
